I love the worlds of marketing and entrepreneurship! Through most of my professional career, I have been a marketer, an entrepreneur and/or worked with entrepreneurs.  My business endeavors have included women’s fashions, recording music label, and small business consultant and trainer. And even in my ‘day jobs’, the focus of my work was entrepreneurship and marketing. For seven years, I lead the Small Business Development Center at the University of Illinois where we assisted entrepreneurs in starting and building viable and successful companies.  I was also the Director of the Entrepreneurship Center at The Chicago Urban League where we launched some powerful programs that helped established business owners achieve significant milestones in their companies. Prior to becoming the owner of the record label, I was an executive at a major advertising agency in the client service/marketing department.

One of the golden threads that runs through all of my work – as an entrepreneur and as a coach to entrepreneurs – is marketing.  Developing and enhancing the foundation necessary to position the companies in the marketplace to attract clients/customers…that generate sales…and make money for the businesses.  And in all cases, KISS marketing strategies are essential elements in the marketing mix!

That’s what this site is all about…KISS Marketing Strategies – Knowledge & Imagination Stimulate Sales.  Some call this guerrilla marketing or shoestring marketing or keep-it-simple-seller strategies.  All are the same concept — using dynamic low or no-cost marketing strategies to develop, maintain, and sustain a successful company.

So, I’m ready to share information about tools you can use to stimulate sales.  You’re probably already using many of them; but it is important that you make them a part of your formal strategic marketing program.  Some will be new tools, some may have you saying ‘duh, of course I do that!” and others will have you thinking of new ways to use old tricks.  But, however you choose to use StimulateSales.com, my commitment is to provide you with the knowledge, resources, ideas, products and support to help you stay on top of your business game!  Your goal should be to use every little thing you can in a strategic way that has customers flocking to your business!
